Does anyone out there ever have any trouble sleeping? I have had insomnia most of my life so I was excited when I learned about this remedy.

I tried everything natural and nothing seemed to work. Since I don’t like to take drugs, I had to put up with it until a couple of years ago, when I attended a lecture by a Naturopathic doctor, and I learned about theanine.

This doctor suggested that taking a couple of capsules before going to bed at night would help you go into a deep sleep and stay there for hours. I bought some that same day, tried it that night and had a good sleep for the first time in years.

For a while I used it every night. But after a period of time, I realized I didn’t need to take it all the time. Now, I can go for weeks, even months, without needing it. Then for some reason I might need to take it for a while. So, I keep it on hand and I only use it as needed.

I have found that taking a couple of 100mg tablets before bed usually works for me. Some people find that taking it during the day helps reduce stress and anxiety.

Theanine is an amino acid which is naturally occurring in green tea. It is very safe and non-addictive. So, if you are having trouble sleeping and haven’t tried this remedy… I would suggest trying it. It won’t hurt anything and it might even help.
